Republican Prudes Strike Again

The State to the East of Us Which Cannot Be Named has passed a law to make any business that sells sexually explicit materials materials pay protection money to the State government. (Apparently now that the entire state trusts God they can work on less pressing issues.) Of course, every business that sells just about anything that used to be covered under the first amendment can be said to be sexually explicit.

When reading these sorts of articles, it seems like I always find this buried within:

Democratic state Rep. Terry Goodin said he wrote the bill as a way to identify potentially objectionable businesses before they open.
